FREEDOM
You don’t have to do anything if you don’t want to. It is your will and your desire to remake and redesign your life. No one is forcing you to do that, for you are free and can decide what’s good for you. Always remember that!
CONTINUITY
Work consistently and set goals and milestones for yourself if you want to achieve something. Once you’ve done it, fill your list back up with other priorities. Consider working on your list of priorities as an essential and pleasant challenge.
HOW I DO IT
I write down everything that I want to achieve and work consistently with my strengths and opportunities.
Do you know the situation when you want to change, but you´re stuck mentally? You actually want to change something in your life, develop yourself, or face a new challenge. But you can’t get any further in your thoughts and actions, because you are going round in circles?
Is your concentration on your weaknesses and threats instead of your strengths and opportunities? Could it be that you revolve around your weaknesses and threats? Do you repeatedly list your negative values? Perhaps also you explain to yourself why something cannot work. “I just can’t do that”, “I’m missing it…”, “I’m not that far away”, “I’m too young, too old, too stupid, too insecure, too introvert, too inexperienced“.
Of course, you must know your weaknesses and threats. It is best to reflect on your development needs systematically and factually. You can then start your development exactly where it is helpful and conducive to achieving your goals. Without this forward-looking systematic approach, the consideration of your weaknesses will presumably slow you down: it often tears you down into self-pity and gets you stuck there.
Be aware of your weaknesses and threats, but don´t let them rule you!
ORIENTATION TOWARDS YOUR STRENGTHS AND OPPORTUNITIES
You should deal in particular with your strengths and opportunities, with your growth-self-developing forces and bring them to further development.
If you want to change something, you build it on strengths and opportunities. We use motivation for change just as purposefully as optimism and the assumption that it will work out.
RECOGNISE YOUR STRENGTHS AND OPPORTUNITIES!
In the following steps, you will gain a differentiated picture of your strengths and opportunities.
1.) In the first step, go through the statements listed below and pick what applies to you.
2.) In the second step, you select the ten most essential points from the marked statements. You will then condense everything into your primary strengths and opportunities.
3.) In the third step, you reduce the collection to 3-5 inner strengths and opportunities.
4.) In step four you remember examples of the strengths and opportunities from your previous experience.
5.) In step five you look forward – the systematic use of the strengths and opportunities with a view to your goals.
6.) In step six, you ensure that your strengths and opportunities are always present to you.
7.) In step seven, you conclude a contract with yourself.
Take your time. Reject negative thoughts from yourself, like: No, can’t …, I don´t know what …, I will fail …, and stand courageously to your strengths and opportunities.
Maybe you also get support and ask someone who knows you well and whom you like for his or her opinion.
Step by step you will develop a positive, optimistic view and conviction: I can help myself. By dealing concretely with your strengths and opportunities, you make yourself more aware of them. Change your perspective away from weaknesses and threats towards strengths and opportunities.
Step 4: FIND EXAMPLES FOR THE SUCCESSFUL USE OF YOUR CORE STRENGTHS AND OPPORTUNITIES
Please write your key strengths in the table below. Find examples of each strength and opportunity in your life and enter them. Be patient with yourself. Sometimes the ideas have to “work their way up”. And when the table is full: please be grateful about your strengths and opportunities and the successful application.

Step 5: FUTURE USE OF YOUR STRENGTHS AND OPPORTUNITIES
Ask yourself about any strength and opportunity you’ve worked out: How can this strength or opportunity help me concretely to develop further? How can I use this strength or opportunity in a targeted way? Ask a trusted person for his/her feedback.

Step 6: THE CONSTANT PRESENCE OF YOUR STRENGTHS
Bring your subconscious mind to work: Hang up your list of strengths and opportunities in a clearly visible place, in the bathroom on the mirror, in your office and on the kitchen cupboard. Whenever you perceive the list – even if not consciously – your brain will work on your strengths and opportunities.
Step 7: MAKE A CONTRACT WITH YOURSELF
Now we’re getting formal! Enter a contract with yourself. If you want to do so even more intensively, give a copy of the contract to your family and friends. Sometimes it helps to create external pressure for yourself. The fear of not fulfilling it will become bigger than your fear of failure. Some people have a fear of success. They sabotage their own achievements, as they don’t feel worthy of them.
Your contract with yourself:
I, YOUR NAME, will from now on design my life in a way that will allow me to experience maximal happiness and success. I am aware of the fact that I will have many challenges and setbacks placed in my way, but I will be courageous, powerful and disciplined in clearing these out of my path and continuing onward.
I commit to always treating myself well, whether that be with nutrition, rest or activities. My powerful spirit deserves to live in a healthy body.
My focus on my strengths and opportunities lead me to a fulfilling and successful life on all levels.
I and I alone am responsible for my life. Freedom is responsibility, of which I am aware at all times and decide to make my life free and accountable.
